JUNE/JULY 2024

MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Due to our ever increasing workload Des Winks Cars Ltd now has a vacancy for a Motor Vehicle Technician we require a new full time Experienced Technician and/or a PDI/Service Technician to join the team representing our Volkswagen and Skoda brands.

This role includes the servicing and repairs of new and used vehicles, ensuring the work is completed efficiently within time frames to Volkswagen group specifications. You will need the ability to efficiently diagnose vehicle faults and to repair to the highest of standards, as well as always improving on your own working methods. You will liaise and work with our Service Advisors to make sure the customer experience is always exceptional.

We will consider all applicants and training is provided for the role whatever your experience level. The right individual does not need to be currently from a manufacturer dealer background but must have the relevant formal technician/mechanic qualifications, as long as you are willing to adapt, then all relevant training will be provided for you to qualify as a Volkswagen group technician. The successful candidate will benefit from a varied role with scope to always improve on their current skill set, whilst working with the latest equipment and technologies.
