Volkswagen Arteon and Tiguan Allspace Take Centre Stage at Geneva

The new Arteon was unveiled to the world’s press for the first time at the Geneva International Motor Show yesterday (7 March 2017) while the Tiguan Allspace made its European debut.

The elegant fastback Arteon, which is positioned above the Passat, will set the pace in the premium mid-size class. While the Tiguan Allspace, a new SUV with the option of seven seats, offers more space than many other SUVs in its class.

Arteon: an avant-garde gran turismo

Described as ‘sporty elegance meets spaciousness and comfort’, the impressive Arteon has 20-inch wheels, a radiator grille that encompasses the car’s full width, and LED headlights and daytime running lights.

On the technical front, the Arteon has six highly efficient engines (power output range from 110 kW/150 PS to 206 kW/280 PS), front-wheel and all-wheel drive, plus digitalised displays and controls.

Other features include an active info display, a head-up display and the new Discover Pro infotainment system with a 9.2-inch glass screen and gesture control. There’s plenty of legroom in the back and 1,557 litres of luggage space.

As well as the high-quality base version, there will be Elegance and R-Line trims. Customers will also benefit from the Arteon’s low running costs and attractive price.
