First Edition specification

The T-Cross First Edition brings together some of the best elements of the new SUV range with a host of premium interior and exterior features – as well as cutting-edge driver assistance systems.

Exterior

The First Edition boasts a stylish, premium finish with the Pure White paint contrasted by the black First Edition decals on the c-pillar, a feature exclusive to this trim. Black wing mirror casings and 18-inch Funchal adamantine silver alloys further complement the contrast. LED headlights, with built-in LED daytime running lights, deliver a spectrum similar to natural daylight. They are particularly beneficial during bad weather, with better visibility not only improving your comfort, but your safety too.

Interior

The First Edition’s practical interior allows drivers to enjoy all the benefits of owning an SUV.

The rear seat bench can slide to allow more space in which can increase the loading space, the interior creates a wonderful feeling of freedom thanks to the raised seating position. And with a capacity of up to 455 litres, the luggage compartment volume is pretty impressive, too. If you still want more, then you can also adapt the height and length of the centre armrests.

The leather multi-function steering wheel allows drivers to control the infotainment system without having to take their hands off the wheel and the 3D ‘Transition’ decorative trim adds a unique touch in black and grey.

Driver assistance systems

The T-Cross First Edition features a host of driver assistance systems – the vehicle really does live up to its claim: ‘I am safe’.

In the event of an imminent collision, the Front Assist area monitoring system with City Emergency Braking, including Pedestrian Monitoring, can help to reduce the severity of the collision or – ideally – avoid the collision completely.

The proactive occupant protection system can identify situations where there is a greater risk of accident. It automatically closes the windows and also tensions the front seat belts as a precautionary measure.

The Lane Assist system can detect whether the T-Cross First Edition has accidentally left its lane when travelling at speeds over 37mph. It can correct the steering to bring the driver’s attention back to the road. The optional Blind Spot Sensor can warn you of vehicles in your blind spot as you drive. On longer journeys the Driver Alert System detects changes in your normal steering behaviour and suggests the driver take a break using visual and acoustic signals, and Park Distance Control makes it easier to park in tricky spaces. Sensors in the front and rear help with this and an acoustic signal and a graphic display on the infotainment system warn of obstacles.

Infotainment

Audio specialist BeatsAudio has created the ‘beats’ sound system for customers to enjoy, with an additional subwoofer and eight-channel amplifier for the speakers.

The Discover Media navigation system has an eight-inch colour touchscreen, six loudspeakers and plenty of connection options.

The Car-Net app connect function allows the driver to connect their smartphone to the composition media radio and navigation system. Selected apps can be operated on your mobile telephone via the touchscreen.
