Redefined and reinvented
The T-Roc has sold more than two million units globally since its debut in 2017, making it Volkswagen’s most successful SUV after Tiguan.
The second-generation model is a major leap forward in terms of development, and this can be seen at first glance in its powerful, clean design. The new T-Roc is the third SUV to be built on Volkswagen’s successful MQB evo platform after the Tiguan and Tayron, and so it benefits from hardware and software seen in these higher-class models.
The new T-Roc will launch in the UK with Life, Style and R-Line trims, and focus around two 1.5 eTSI mild hybrid turbocharged petrol engines with outputs of 116 PS (on Life and Style) and 150 PS (on Life, Style and R-Line).
All other variants are front-wheel drive and are paired with an automatic seven-speed direct-shift gearbox (DSG). They will be followed by two full-hybrid drive systems developed entirely from scratch will be joining the line up later in 2026.
