The KODIAQ Sportline is open for ordering from 5 December 2017. A dynamic and stylish version of our largest SUV, the Sportline made its world debut at the Geneva International Motor Show earlier this year.
The new variant will come with a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines and features designed to provide pure driving pleasure.
Black features underline its dynamic appearance
The Sportline’s radiator grille, roof rails, wing mirror housings and side window trims are all in black, to give the car real road presence, while the rear window and rear side windows are tinted.
The rear is enhanced by a narrow, silver-coloured trim below the bumper.
This variant also boasts body-coloured protective side trims, 19-inch alloy wheels with a special new design come as standard and 20-inch wheels are an option.
Equipment
The Sportline is based on the SE trim level, but over and above that has Alcantara sports seats with silver-coloured stitching. The driver’s seat is electronically adjustable and has a memory function. The vehicle’s sporty character is emphasised by the leather-covered multifunction steering wheel and gearstick, plus aluminium pedals. The car’s multifunction display includes information on G-forces, the turbocharging pressure, the current engine output and the temperature of the oil and coolant.
The array of standard equipment includes Driving Mode Select (normal, sport, eco, individual, comfort and snow), which can be used to control the engine, automatic transmission, power steering and air conditioning. The Sportline trim comes with electronically adjustable and foldable door mirrors, rear-view mirror with rain sensor and dip function, LED ambient lighting, the Kodiaq logo in the door sills and floor mats with silver-coloured stitching.
This is on top of the already generously specified Kodiaq range which has class-leading driver assistance and infotainment functions.
