ŠKODA's popular urban runabout, the Citigo has just gone electric!,ŠKODA has unveiled the facelifted Citigo in Prague and UK models are now ready to order. The brand’s smallest car has undergone some big changes on the outside, with refreshed exterior styling instantly catching the eye. Our popular supermini also benefits from a number of upgrades and ‘Simply Clever’ features to keep driver and passengers happy on the inside.
The CITIGOᵉ iV is the first mass-produced, all-electric ŠKODA, powered solely by a 61 kW electric motor. As a result, the ŠKODA CITIGOᵉ iV offers locally emission-free driving at low running costs. The CITIGOᵉ iV’s compactness and dynamic electric motor make it perfectly primed for modern city traffic. Compared to its predecessor with a conventional internal combustion engine, it boasts plenty of space and numerous innovations in safety assists, infotainment, connectivity and technology. You might find yourself seriously awestruck by the all-new electric CITIGOᵉ iV!
The ŠKODA CITIGOᵉ iV, available exclusively with five doors, is visually very different from the ICE version, especially the front section. The grille is body-coloured. The front-bumper air vents also come exclusively in the colour of the car. The iV and CITIGOᵉ tailgate badges are a signature feature of the CITIGOᵉ iV. The wing mirror covers, which are either black or body-coloured, have built-in direction indicators.
In the interior, the dashboard has been given a new design. The area above the dashboard features a silver or black finish. In addition, white LED ambient lighting is also available.
In the ŠKODA CITIGOᵉ iV, frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger), along with front-seat curtain and side airbags, take care of passive safety. Lane Assist, helping the driver to keep the car in its lane, has been introduced. If the vehicle comes close to a lane marking, the system helps the driver by nudging the steering wheel in a direction that will keep it in its lane.
The Move&Fun app offers specific mobile online services (e.g. it can play back music) and integrated navigation. The new e-Manager app displays the range, the energy flow in the car, and brake energy regeneration. It can also be used to initiate traction battery charging or to activate the air-conditioning before a journey.
The driver can choose from three driving modes by using a button positioned next to the selector lever. Normal mode delivers maximum power of 61 kW. Eco mode curbs the maximum power. The most economical mode is Eco+, which even switches off the air-conditioning.
