New Volkswagen ID.4

Volkswagen’s first all-electric SUV, the all new ID.4 is a dynamic, family-oriented vehicle manufactured using a carbon neutral process. Combining the modest exterior dimensions and tight turning circle of a compact car with the interior space and practicality of an SUV, it’s ideal for eco-conscious drivers living in the urban jungle.​

​Exterior

Sleek and streamlined, the new Volkswagen ID.4 is an attractive solution for city driving. Bold curves and flowing lines accentuate the vehicle’s sense of motion, while a sweeping roofline lends elegance to the design. Roof rails provide practicality, while 18-inch wheels ensure this is a model that stands out. Recessed door handles help to maximise airflow, and an optional towbar gives the ID.4 the capability to tow a trailer.

Interior

Step inside an you’ll be immediately impressed by the sense of space. The ID.4 offers ample legroom in the front and rear thanks to a completely flat floor, as well as a variable centre console and seats that have been optimised for comfort. The vehicle’s lounge character is emphasised by a choice of ten ambient lighting colours, which gently illuminate the dash panel, doors, and smartphone holder to create a welcoming environment both day and night. Staying in control is made simple and intuitive by the minimalist dash, which displays key driving information on a 5.3-inch display, and can be operated using the multi-functional steering wheel. 

Performance

Whether you’re tackling the school run, driving to a meeting or getting away for the weekend, the Volkswagen ID.4 can get you there with no hassle. A power output of 204PS gives your drive vigour, propelling you from 0-62mph in just 8.5 seconds, while a range of up to 322 miles means there’s typically no need to recharge every day. At speeds of up to 18mph, you’ll enjoy a near-silent drive, while pedestrians will hear an artificially generated noise, warning them of your presence and making your travels through town safer.

​Technology & safety

Nothing can take the place of responsible driving, but with a host of assistance systems you can take to the road in the ID.4 feeling fully supported. For long, tiring motorway drives, there’s a Lane Assist function, which helps to prevent you straying from your lane unintentionally, while Front Assist monitors the area ahead of the vehicle and helps you avoid potential collisions. Parking sensors are also fitted to make manoeuvres easier and safer. 

Onboard technology includes voice command, App-Connect, which enables you to use selected smartphone apps on the go, and tri-zone climate control. ​
