The new-generation Superb provides revolutionary new looks and features alongside unprecedented interior luxury. This spacious saloon is versatile and practical, and the smooth, refined ride ensures everyone is comfortable.
ŠKODA’s dynamic re-imagining of its design language has resulted in fresh, contemporary styling and a sleek silhouette. With its wide signature front grille and LED lights, the Superb makes its presence known on the road. The sharp creases to the bonnet and side panels give the aesthetic a more assertive edge over the outgoing model.
Inside the Superb, you can enjoy ŠKODA’s most luxurious design yet, with class-leading interior space and sumptuous fabrics. The tailgate opens like that of a conventional hatchback, an improvement over the previous model, which gives easy access to the 625-litre boot. Fold the seats flat and the Superb Hatch boasts a best-in-class 1,760 litres of cargo space.
Trim levels and equipment
There are five trim levels to choose from. The entry-level S model is well-appointed as standard, with alloy wheels, LED rear lights, front fog lights, electromechanical power steering and a start/stop engine system. The SE variant adds rain-sensing windscreen wipers, rear parking sensors and two umbrellas contained inside the front passenger door. The SE L Executive trim comes with premium leather upholstery, and the range-topping Laurin & Klement model has heated seats and interior and exterior LED lights.
The advanced technology available with the Superb Hatch is designed to offer a fully integrated and intuitive experience, improving the ease and quality of each journey. Bluetooth® connectivity is fitted on the entry-level Superb as standard, along with a DAB digital radio and a five-inch touchscreen. Higher specification models come with features such as adaptive cruise control and Amunsden satellite navigation. Driver assist systems such as blind spot detection, lane assist and park assist are standard fit on the top-of-the-range variant.
Engines and performance
From the broad choice of engine options, ecologically-minded buyers can opt for the 1.6-litre TDI unit. This refined diesel engine returns up to 76mpg and emits just 95g/km of CO2. The fastest performance is achieved by the 1.4-litre TSI engine, which utilises 150bhp to deliver a 0-60mph time of just 8.3 seconds.
